**Tentative Agenda**

Summer Classic Baseball/Softball Games – The Van Meter baseball and softball coaches and players would like to invite all former players, fans, and current parents who have been involved in the Van Meter softball and baseball programs, to play in the first annual Baseball/Softball Summer Classic. The classic is to be held at the Van Meter Baseball and Softball field on June 3rd @ 6:00pm. There will be baseball going on at the baseball field and slow-pitch 16″ softball on the softball field. It is going to be a great event. For all wanting to participate please check out the Van Meter website to register and sign up for a shirt. Registration closes Thursday, May 26!

Bill Riley Talent Show – Be a part of the Bill Riley Talent Search Show at Raccoon River Days on June 5, 2016. The talent show will be held at 1:00pm in the gym of the Van Meter High School. Divisions will be the Sprouts (ages 2-12) and Seniors (ages 13-21). Sprouts acts may have 1 performer who is 13 years old. Acts must be three minutes or less and limited to five persons per act. Accompanists are permitted. A piano will be provided. Use of CD or iPod pre-recorded tracts is permitted if instrumental only. Contestants may only appear once in any given show. See the Bill Riley Talent Search Contest Rules for further information (http://www.billrileytalentsearch.com/rules/contestants). Acts should check in a minimum of 45 minutes prior to the start of the show to register. Only one winner will be selected in each category. Cash prize to winners. Space is limited.
