The Friends of the Van Meter Public Library Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to the support and promotion of the Van Meter Public Library. Friends work to support various library activities, programs, and projects through fund raising and volunteer support. Each year the Foundation plans many activities, including our annual Book Sale. Funds raised from events like these help supplement the collection and support programs, like the Summer Reading program. Without the Friends Foundation programs like this would not be possible!

Annual Membership Fee: $10 OR pledge 10 hours of volunteer time – You get to choose! Friends also receive benefits, such as discounts on the annual book sale and the Friends’ Book Shelf in the library.
Any level of participation is welcome and beneficial. The Friends Foundation meets 4 times per year in addition to the annual Book Sale.
